In what has become a deadly recurring theme, on Tuesday a Palestinian teenager tried to enter the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron with a knife. The box cutter was discovered on the 17-year-old at a security checkpoint at the entrance to the holy site.

Rocks were also thrown at vehicles driving near the Shechem-area (Nablus-area) Jewish town of Yitzhar, and one car was lightly damaged. On Israel's Highway 60, Arabs threw rocks at passing Israelis.

An IDF soldier was lightly injured Thursday in a violent disturbance at Nebi Tzalah in southern Samaria, according to a report by the Walla news site.
